Daily Tasks & Responsibilities
Understand commitments, policies, contracted rates, accessorial schedules, fuel schedules, vendor agreements, KPI's and challenges for each account.
Comprehend and execute growth strategy and actively work to reach goals for each account.
Develop strong relationships with all customer contacts and facilities.
Accept, build, and schedule all customer shipments, including all pertinent information and documentation.
Manage daily load board and take responsibility for ensuring that loads are serviced properly.
Build and maintain respectful relationships with carrier department.
Ensure loads are tracked and updated in timely manner.
Identify and communicate (potential) problems to the appropriate parties and provide solutions.
Possess understanding of the market and provide or facilitate pricing.
Prioritize and respond to both internal and external requests in a timely, effective, and professional manner.
Update and resolve incidents regularly; manage accessorials objectively while maximizing profit.
Organize and analyze data to identify new opportunities and potential threats.

Compensation for this role is $45,000-50,000. The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.
