Commercial Insurance Csr / Account Manager

Salary: USD 60,000 - USD 70,000 + Performance Bonus

COVU is redefining how independent agencies serve their commercial clients — and we're looking for a Commercial Insurance CSR / Account Manager to help us deliver best-in-class service through our AI-driven platform.
In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of commercial accounts, ensuring each client receives proactive service, accurate coverage guidance, and a seamless digital experience. You'll work alongside our Producers, Advisors, and Operations team to provide clients with smart, technology-enabled solutions that improve retention, efficiency, and satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Client Relationship Management: Build strong, trust-based relationships with commercial clients, understanding their business needs and ensuring timely service and renewals.
- Policy Servicing: Review, process, and issue policies, endorsements, certificates, and renewals within COVU's digital workflow environment.
- Renewals & Retention: Manage renewals proactively — reviewing coverage, identifying gaps, and recommending appropriate solutions to improve retention and upsell opportunities.
- Data Accuracy & Documentation: Maintain clean client records and communications in our AI-powered system to ensure data quality and regulatory compliance.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Underwriting Support, and Customer Success teams to deliver seamless end-to-end service.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to automate or streamline workflows through our COVU technology stack.
- Industry Awareness: Stay informed about P&C market trends, carrier updates, and coverage innovations to support client needs.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 3+ years in commercial lines account management, CSR, or a related role in an independent agency or MGA environment.
- Licensing: Active Property & Casualty License (multi-state preferred).
- Lines of Business: Has worked in large Commercial businesses like Trucking, Marine, Cyber, Large General and Liability, Trucking.
- Technical Aptitude: Experience with Applied Epic, AMS360, Salesforce, or similar agency management systems; comfort working in AI-driven or digital workflows.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first approach.
- Organization: High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts efficiently.
- Problem Solving: Analytical thinker who can resolve client issues quickly and accurately.
- Team Mindset: Collaborative, proactive, and open to process improvement through technology.
