As an IT Technician 1, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our technology infrastructure, enabling us to serve our members and community with the highest level of service.

Job Duties:

  • Provides first-level technical support to credit union staff, assisting with hardware and software issues, network connectivity, printer troubleshooting, and other technical inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Monitors data center environment to ensure uptime is met. staff computers to ensure they have current software and are configured properly.
  • Installs, tests, and maintains hardware/software and troubleshoots activities on printers, personal computers, terminals, and other peripherals.
  • Walks users through the problem-solving process and follows up with users, provides feedback and sees problems through to the resolution.
  • Must be willing to travel to other branch locations to complete tasks that need to be done onsite

Qualifications:

  • Technical diploma in networking, computer programming, or equivalent related work experience.
  • Familiarity with Office 365, Active Directory, and VMWare.
  • Minimum of six months relevant work experience preferred.
  • Working experience administering Windows desktop operating systems.
  • Ability to work in direct, professional contact with a wide variety of people on a daily basis.
  • Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays if needed
