Customer Service Associate

Copay is currently looking to hire a Customer Service Associate within our Corpay Lodging division. This position falls under our Lodging line of business and is located in Wichita, KS. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced environment and be someone who truly enjoys helping clients to help drive client success. You will report directly to the Direct Accounts Manager.

As a Customer Service Associate, you will be expected to work in an office environment. Copay will set you up for success by providing:

  • Assigned workspace in Wichita, KS.
  • Company-issued equipment.
  • Formal, hands-on training.

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Efficiently and professionally handling customer calls and emails from clients and CLC hotel partners.
  • Managing customer issues using best-in-class courtesy, tact, and diplomacy as well as applying active listening and empathy skills.
  • Relating to each individual's customers' needs, accurately answering questions, identifying problems, and presenting solutions.
  • Creating client value by consulting with clients to introduce program features and services to match client lodging program needs.
  • Researching client disputes and ensure timely resolution.
  • Redirecting customers to appropriate departments and teams when appropriate.
  • Reviewing outstanding balance accounts and contacting clients weekly as part of the team's collection efforts.
  • Performing additional customer service duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Ability to multi-task by handling high call volume and email traffic.
  • A team player with the confidence and passion to help our customers.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent active listening skills and ability to develop rapport on the phone.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting concepts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic computer functions.
