Responsibilities:
Ensure Cordis is the partner of choice within the Cardiology/Endovascular marketplace
Be the clinical expert and product champion across the Cordis portfolio by ensuring proficient knowledge of all products
Manage a portfolio of new and existing accounts to achieve long-term success
Achieve and exceed territory sales targets across the full Cordis portfolio
Create & execute a territory plan to prioritize activity and focus to meet commercial goals
Lead / coordinate Cordis's content and communication with key stakeholders in your territory
Act as the point of contact and handle customers individual needs
Lead territory KOL strategy. Foster positive long-term relationships and ongoing engagement with strategic customers
Market expansion – explore market opportunities for expansion within assigned territory
Identify opportunities to generate new business
Think about new approaches, use current solutions, look for synergies cross sector
Prepare, negotiate, and submit contracts, tenders ensuring a proper finance approach, an effective implementation and management of contracts / agreements once secured
Monitor sales metrics (e.g. monthly/quaterly sales results and annual forecasts). Play an active role within the team by providing market and competitor intelligence, feedback on local trends
Attendance at both internal and external meetings, workshops and exhibitions as required
Qualifications:
Fluency in Flemish & English language is required
2+ years in Account Management / Sales experience within the medical device industry
Experience in the cardiovascular/endovascular space is preferred
Ability to learn and understand complex clinical product knowledge and clinical data
A thorough understanding of the hospital environment and how it operates, particularly in terms of purchasing
Ability to build and maintain strong business and customer relationships to establish a reliable and trustworthy environment for growing business
Ability to work independently with a high competency in time management
Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Experience in a fast-paced organization with a quick and pragmatic decisions approach
Ability to think out of the box and propose innovative solutions / approaches
Willingness to travel, and attend meetings when required
