Account Manager for Centro Italy Region

The Account Manager for the "Centro" Italy region is responsible for maintaining and growing the business in key accounts in line with Cordis strategic goals for Cardiology and Endovascular products. The role covers the Centro Italy region, which includes one of the following functional zone groupings: Rimini – Forlì – Cesena or Pesaro – Perugia – Ancona. The Account Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of the Commercial Strategy priorities / products of Cordis in Key and/or strategic accounts in the assigned region.

Responsibilities include facilitating contact with key clinical and non-clinical stakeholders across the assigned region, gaining contractual commitment for the long-term use of Cordis products, and maintaining and growing the business in key accounts in line with Cordis strategic goals, with special focus to grow the SELUTION product business in Cardiology and Endovascular. Ensuring Cordis is the partner of choice within the Cardiology/Endovascular marketplace, the Account Manager is responsible for the development and execution of the Commercial Strategy priorities / products of Cordis in your region. The role requires close collaboration with internal and external customers to develop relationships and maximize the opportunities within key accounts and regions.

The account manager is required to think about new approaches, use current solutions, look for synergies cross sector, prepare, negotiate, and submit contracts, tenders ensuring a proper finance approach, an effective implementation and management of contracts/agreements once secured. Collaborate with the Bids & Tender team for price offers, analyze and interpret appropriate data to determine upside and downside potential, identify and select key stakeholders in your territory, and aim to understand the customer's interests, generate and test options and explore future service offerings.

Relationship Management includes building and maintaining key contacts with key stakeholders, clinical and non-clinical across the Centro Italy region, with specific focus on the functional zones: Rimini – Forlì – Cesena or Pesaro – Perugia – Ancona. Use Sales force.com for project management and to report opportunities. Working in close partnership with your colleagues to share and replicate best practice. Network within key stakeholders to identify the key supporters and blockers at all levels. Business Planning and Administration includes monitoring, controlling and evaluating the implementation and running of tenders/contracts in conjunction with the B&T & Country lead/General manager, ensuring that all agreements/contracts/tenders meet the overall commercial and pricing strategy and are appropriately approved according to our Commercial Policy.

Qualifications include a minimum education requirement of HBO or University (Medical oriented is preferred). Fluency in Dutch & English language is required. Ability to create/build strong relationships with customers to establish a reliable and trustworthy environment for growing business, experience in a fast-paced organization with a quick and pragmatic decision-making approach, and ability to think creatively, sell products, think out of the box and propose innovative solutions/approaches. Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, ability to analyze and interpret data to drive evidence-based decisions, and willingness to travel, and attend meetings when required are also required.
