Key Account Manager

We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Key Account Manager to support and grow our HVAC OEM client base. This role requires strong commercial acumen, persuasive communication, and a deep understanding of customer needs to deliver long-term value and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key HVAC OEM stakeholders
  • Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on HVAC product solutions
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer strategies to identify growth and support opportunities
  • Lead account planning activities to uncover cross-sell and expansion potential
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including pricing and contract negotiations with OEM customers
  • Collaborate with internal account teams (e.g., Systems Engineers, Application Engineers) to deliver tailored value propositions
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and ensure inquiries are routed appropriately
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline of opportunities using CRM tools
  • Deliver compelling presentations to influence purchasing decisions
  • Provide exceptional service by listening to customer concerns and responding with empathy

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Proven experience in a sales, account management, or business development role (preferably in HVAC, manufacturing, or a technical environment)
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, customer service, and commercial teams
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office suite
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to manage complex accounts

Preferred qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Experience in the HVAC sector or OEM sales environment
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and technologies
  • Familiarity with account-based selling and long-term strategic planning
