Business Development Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region, focusing on ART consumables and equipment.
Drive upselling and cross-selling initiatives to maximize revenue potential.
Participate in and execute lead-generating activities such as workshops, events, and targeted campaigns in the region.
Pricing & Commercial Management:
Maximize pricing opportunities and manage customer pricing contracts and quotes.
Implement company pricing guidelines and ensure compliance.
Focus on Key Accounts:
Prioritize and manage key fertility clinics, hospitals, and ART centers across Greater Madrid and Central Spain.
Build strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers and clinical staff to ensure loyalty and satisfaction.
Develop and execute strategic account plans with clear objectives, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
Maintain existing revenue streams while driving penetration of new products and solutions within accounts.
Sales Discipline:
Apply structured sales methodologies to manage pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting.
Maintain up-to-date customer records and CRM data integrity.
Implement sales excellence initiatives, including funnel management and new product roll-outs.
Spend at least 2/3 of time in the field visiting clinics and hospitals to strengthen relationships and fine-tune sales approach.
Required qualifications:
Education:
College degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA is a plus.
Experience:
+5 years in direct sales or account management within healthcare or life sciences.
Proven track record in managing key accounts and achieving sales targets.
Experience with medical devices and/or Biotech is an advantage.
Experience in IVF/ART industry or genetics is a strong advantage but not a prerequisite.
Skills:
Excellent selling and closing skills.
Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
Scientifically interested.

Excellent listener and communicator.
Energetic and able to work independently in the field.
Criteria for success:
Drive total revenue in Central Spain region.
Own the customer experience at targeted Clinics and KAs.

Language(s): Fluent in Spanish and good skills in English (written and spoken).
