Position Overview:
The Labeling Implementation Specialist is responsible for supporting labeling implementation in base business and NPD (New Product Introduction) projects.
The role is a supportive function to our Labeling Project Managers and will work closely with them to ensure an effective implementation of high quality to follow labeling standards.
The role is responsible for documentation flow connected to the implementation of new artwork in production.
The role work closely with many stakeholders across the business, primarily the labeling team, quality and production.
The role is responsible to plan and align with the team in both Reynosa and Osted production sites about labeling implementation
The role is part of the labeling team, who are responsible for labeling updates end-to-end on both base business products, and new product introduction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall responsible for labeling implementation in projects that have an artwork change or introduced new artwork.
- The role is responsible for the following tasks:
- Blueprint review of labeling materials for accuracy and correctness to approved artwork
- Update packaging specifications/manuals
- Send packaging specifications for comments and submit packaging specifications/manuals for review
- Coordinate and complete packaging specification training in production
- Update or create labels for production
- Test changes to labels
- Update systems when changes
- The role will be working closely with the Labeling Project Manager to ensure a smooth implementation in production
- The role will be responsible for supporting the Labeling Project Manager with documentation throughout the projects
- The role will work closely with the Operational Labeling Team, to ensure we are working in a standard way globally
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to present information and communicate effectively at all levels within the company as well as cross functionally with departments such as Regulatory, Quality, Purchasing, Operations and Marketing. Ability to present to management and to extended teams.
- Coordinate activities between Labeling team and production sites.
- Ability to work in a team environment including multi-site cross-functional team members across geographies and time zones.
- Demonstrating full compliance with ConvaTec's Quality Management System (QMS), policies, and procedures.
- To ensure compliance with the legislative and internal requirements of the EHS and to participate in the fulfillment of the company's targets in the EHS area

Skills & Experience:
- Experience from working within the artwork labeling area
- Experience from working in the medical device industry or similar regulated industry
- Experience from working with design control
- Experience working with documentation
- Highly structured, ability to progress tasks in parallel, and proven problem-solving skills.
- The ability to communicate effectively in Technical English (verbal and written) is essential.
- Highly computer literate i.e. Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Experience from working in an environment with multiple cultures and businesses
Qualifications/Education:
- Degree in science, technical, engineering, supply chain or similar
- Educated Project Manager
- Experience with project management tools
Principal Contacts & Purpose of Contact
The nature of this role will require the individual to deal with a wide range of contacts at different levels of seniority within the organization. In addition, the individual will deal with contacts external to the vendors, organization where these may be external companies.
