Key Account Manager – Continence Care DACH

As a Key Account Manager – Continence Care DACH, you are responsible for the development and expansion of strategic partnerships with homecare companies, medical supply stores, and relevant healthcare partners. In this role, you will contribute significantly to the growth of the newly established continence care business in the DACH region, with a focus on intermittent catheterization (e.g. GentleCath™ Air).

You will work closely with the Commercial Director CC DACH, the Marketing Manager, and the Digital Team, as well as with global functions. Together, you will shape a future-oriented, patient-centered care in Germany.

We are looking for two Key Account Manager – Continence Care DACH with appropriate regional responsibility for North/East or South/West Germany.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identification, approach, care, and development of strategic homecare partners
  • Creation of framework contracts, cooperation models, and service level agreements
  • Nurturing long-term, trustworthy relationships with decision-makers and purchasing teams
  • Close cooperation with marketing, digital, medical affairs, and customer service
  • Supporting the successful product launch through training and motivation of partners, participation in congresses, trade fairs, and customer events to maintain the network
  • Market observation (GKV, competitors, tenders)
  • Feedback to the global team for continuous optimization of the value proposition
  • Supporting the establishment of a strong regional care network
  • Responsibility for defined homecare accounts in the DACH region
  • Negotiation room within the framework of the sales guidelines
  • Participation in forecast and budget planning for relevant accounts
  • Representation of Continence Care DACH with external partners and in internal projects.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Ideally a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, health management, medical technology, or a related field or clinical background with business administration additional training
  • Proven sales experience in key account management – ideally in the homecare, medtech, or medical supply sector
  • Strong communication skills, confident demeanor, and negotiation skills at the C-level
  • Experience in dealing with healthcare providers, health insurance companies, and partner networks
  • High level of self-organization, accountability, and implementation strength
  • Very good understanding of the German medical supply market and the GKV system
  • Knowledge in the field of continence care or urology is an advantage
  • Ability to analyze market data and develop pragmatic strategies
  • Resilience, team spirit, and willingness to actively contribute to the establishment of a new business area
  • Experience with CRM systems, MS Office, PowerPoint; PowerBI knowledge is advantageous
  • Negotiation skills in German (written & verbal, including contract negotiation), and good English at business level (communication with global teams)
