The IT Helpdesk acts as the first responder for our end users who need technical assistance. We strive to provide the best experience possible, understanding how stressful a situation can be for our users who cannot conduct business due to technical challenges. If we are not able to resolve these technical issues, we make sure the support request is routed to the appropriate team that can resolve the issue.

In the Jr Tech role, the main responsibilities include providing advice and support to end-users, answering queries, and addressing system and user issues promptly and professionally.

Responsibilities and functions:

  • Keeping inventory accurate and assessing the requirement for IT equipment
  • Managing laptop/desktop imaging and configuration, desk setups, equipment distribution, and collection
  • Work with supplier warranty to repair IT equipment
  • Attend the resolution of doubts or requests for information from the users
  • Resolve basic tickets
  • Provide maintenance on equipment, including:
    • Hardware parts replacement
    • Software installations and updates
    • Physical maintenance of equipment
    • Backup information
    • Structured cable basic troubleshooting
    • Telephony basic support
  • If needed, move equipment from one location to another
  • Other IT-related functions and projects as requested

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Upper-intermediate English level
  • Specialized knowledge:
    • Basic experience in Helpdesk IT at Call Center
    • Service Now knowledge or any other ticket-handling system
    • Remote desktop software
  • Computer Knowledge: MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms (Advanced)
  • Experience: 1 year in similar roles (Desirable)
