Strategic Account Executive

ConcertAI is seeking a highly driven, enterprise-focused Strategic Account Executive to expand adoption of our Precision Trials clinical technology solutions across pharmaceutical and biotechnology sponsors. This role is centered on selling complex, SaaS-based clinical technologies that support modern trial execution — including data-driven feasibility, patient identification, biomarker-informed cohort strategy, enrollment optimization, and AI-enabled operational decision support. The ideal candidate brings direct experience selling enterprise clinical technology platforms and understands the buying dynamics within Clinical Operations and Clinical Development organizations. This individual will lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and position Precision Trials as a strategic enabler of more efficient, data-driven clinical execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute enterprise account strategies targeting Clinical Operations, Clinical Development, and Digital Trial leadership within assigned pharma and biotech accounts.
  • Drive adoption of ConcertAI's Precision Trials technology platform to support feasibility analysis, patient identification, enrollment acceleration, and trial optimization.
  • Own the full enterprise sales cycle, including executive alignment, stakeholder mapping, competitive positioning, proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Navigate complex, cross-functional buying committees involving Clinical Operations, Data Management, Biostatistics, Clinical Innovation, IT, and Procurement.
  • Position Precision Trials as complementary and interoperable with existing eClinical ecosystems (EDC, eCOA, CTMS, RTSM, patient recruitment platforms).
  • Quantify operational and financial impact, including enrollment acceleration, site performance improvement, protocol optimization, and risk mitigation.
  • Partner closely with Product, Solutions Engineering, Data Science, and Implementation teams to design technically sound, commercially compelling solutions.
  • Ensure successful transition from sale to implementation, maintaining executive sponsorship and driving expansion within strategic accounts.
  • Provide structured feedback to Product and Leadership regarding market demand, competitive intelligence, pricing sensitivity, and evolving clinical technology trends.
  • Represent ConcertAI at industry events focused on clinical innovation, digital trials, and operational excellence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred (MBA, MS, MPH, or related).
  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience selling clinical technologies or SaaS solutions to pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO organizations.
  • Proven success closing complex, multi-million-dollar enterprise deals involving solutions such as EDC, eCOA, ePRO, eConsent, CTMS, RTSM, patient recruitment, feasibility, or broader eClinical platforms.
  • Deep understanding of Clinical Operations and Clinical Development workflows, including protocol feasibility, site selection, patient recruitment, enrollment management, and trial execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with cross-functional buying groups and executive-level decision makers.
  • Strong knowledge of SaaS contracting models, enterprise procurement processes, and strategic account expansion.
  • Consistent track record of exceeding revenue targets in competitive clinical technology markets.
  • Exceptional executive presence, business acumen, and ability to articulate technical and operational value propositions.
