Job Summary
The Account Manager requires direct client interaction with a strong focus on analyzing business performance and designing tailored solutions to meet each client's unique needs. The ideal candidate consistently delivers exceptional service, cultivates long-term client partnerships, and drives high customer satisfaction, contributing to contract renewals, expansions, and sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive business reviews highlighting performance, opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
- Analyze sales, product mix, and operational data to identify ways to improve profitability and reduce operational inefficiencies.
- Recommend program enhancements to optimize effectiveness and increase customer value.
- Resolve day-to-day service issues quickly to ensure smooth onsite operations and positive customer experience.
- Support the operational setup of new business accounts, including coordination with operations, merchandising, and field teams.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients, becoming their primary point of contact for service and strategy.
- Conduct financial analysis to support pricing, product mix decisions, and program improvements.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of account management experience, ideally within foodservice, vending, micro-markets, distribution, or hospitality.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare, analyze, and present detailed business reviews to clients.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and drive client engagement.
- Proven experience developing long-term relationships with decision-makers.
- Strong analytical judgment with the ability to interpret sales and operational data and make sound recommendations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfort with business reporting tools.
