Account Manager

In our 'always on' world, it's essential to have a genuine connection with the work you do. You find solutions for every customer! Due to growth and customer demand, CommScope is looking to add an Account Manager to our team. The ideal candidate will be based in Los Angeles, CA.

As the global market leader in our low-voltage/telecommunications infrastructure space, CommScope is looking for an upbeat Account Manager to join a very successful and results-oriented team.

As a customer-facing expert, you'll drive sales and position our top-tier low-voltage infrastructure solutions, including copper and fiber optics, In-Building Wireless, and Distributed Antenna Systems, directly to key decision-makers. Your focus will be on delivering structured cabling, fiber optics, and physical layer selling this infrastructure to enterprise accounts campus accounts, SLED and hospitals.

Here, you will provide outstanding customer service by understanding the customer and specific business units and delivering products, services, and solutions to meet or exceed customer expectations.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Five or more years of account management sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
  • Ability to strategically run large enterprise accounts and grow the territory.
  • Expert ability to establish and cultivate positive relationships with existing customers and grow existing revenue streams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, willing to act with professional interpersonal skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the San Diego and Hawaii market for tradeshows, customer meetings, industry events, etc.

  • Experience with a quota of $7 million or more
  • Experience in the telecom industry or data center industry
  • Experience with Business Development, cold-calling, and building a professional network

The candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company's Incentive Plan. Candidates starting with the Company will be eligible for eleven paid holidays in a full calendar year, two weeks of paid vacation (prorated based on start date), as well as other leave options.
