Project Coordinator

Responsible for the coordination, general oversight, and overall success of operational projects. Project Coordinator will lead implementation of new operational projects developed by CHI Memorial Oncology and CHI Memorial Physician Enterprise and facilitate communication and feedback through responsible parties to ensure project success and completion. Under general supervision, supports the administrative requirements within the practices to ensure safety, best practice and high quality standards of care are maintained. Interacts directly and indirectly with internal and external providers as well as the market leadership team, delivering excellent customer service. An integral member of the Oncology/MHPF team by completing administrative duties, generating reports and clinical data abstraction working in conjunction with administration, managers, and physicians.

Essential Function Assists Oncology and MHPF teams to develop efficiencies in workflows across the PE and Oncology service line Responsible for generating intuitive reports and analyzing data to design key performance metrics and tracking tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal, and collaborative skills Capable of handling multiple diverse and complex assignments concurrently. Experience with shifting priorities, demands, and timelines Coordinate project teams, define scope, develop and manage project plans and project budgets across multiple simultaneous projects Facilitate weekly and as-needed operational meetings for project key stakeholders, ensuring the current projects are up-to-date and complete. Assist in the creation of SBAR proposals for new business benefiting Oncology and MHPF and ensuring timely delivery prior to deadlines. Facilitate and lead any short-term projects that are presented by the Oncology and MMS Administrative team and ensure timelines and objectives are met effectively. Responsible for assisting new physicians with our Hospitalists' department onboarding. Develops and maintains professional relationships with key stakeholders across the organization. Maintain privacy and confidentiality in and out of the workplace Update policies and procedures as needed Coordinate practice improvement strategies within the organization Develops tools and processes to optimize patient experience Works in conjunction with practice managers to identify strategies to meet contract obligations Generates Risk-Stratification and Predictive Modeling reports Abstracts meaningful data from the AEHR/clinic medical record of identified high-risk consumers Actively participates in quality activities by communicating and coordinating with the management teams in the development of tools for optimal consumer outcomes and report findings Accountability for results: Understands and self-manages to support system goals, including improvements in quality, cost of care and member experience for the determined population. Identifies opportunities for improvement (at individual, clinic and system levels) and actively works with the healthcare and MMS team to correct or improve results. Responds promptly to inquiries. Expresses thoughts and ideas one-on-one and in teams. Exercises good listening skills. Demonstrates attention, and conveys understanding of the comments or questions of others. Positive interaction with customers, (i.e., patients, visitors, physicians, and team members. Deals effectively with stressful situations. Takes ownership of the customer's problem. Looks for ways to improve service and introduce new work procedures that saves time, effort, and money. Applies the knowledge and skills needed to do the job. Keeps informed about practices, procedures, and new developments related to own work. Willing to work extra, if needed. Offers assistance to peers. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education:

High School Graduate or High School GED Required and Associates Degree or OR high school graduate with 4 years of healthcare experience or other related industry experience
