Workstation Deployment Support Technician

Our client is seeking a Workstation Deployment Support Technician to join their team! You will be part of the IT Support Department supporting the Technology Deployment Team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, strong communication skills, a high degree of customer service, and a proactive approach.

What's the Job?

• Workstation deployment, imaging, and configuration of desktops and laptops according to organizational standards.
• Provide on-site and remote assistance to users during migration and deployment activities.
• Document technical procedures and operational instructions to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.
• Train user groups on new equipment and software features to enhance user experience and productivity.
• Maintain accurate deployment logs, asset records, and issue tracking documentation to support operational efficiency.

What's Needed?

• Extensive working knowledge of desktop hardware and software, including installation and uninstallation processes.
• Experience working with voice, video, and data systems, including processing tasks related to these systems.
• Proven ability to test third-party software and upgrades to ensure compatibility and performance.
• Experience imaging workstations and preparing equipment according to organizational standards.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to act as a liaison between users and IT teams.
