Account Manager II

Our Construction & Infrastructure team in Denver is looking for an Account Manager II. This is a hybrid role based out of our Denver, CO office. The Account Manager II will assist Account Executives by running key processes that serve the client and undertaking the client-facing and internal activities related to these processes. Account Managers will also assist Brokers, particularly in the Commercial Risk business, while developing experience and expertise.

This is a unique opportunity working within the Construction & Infrastructure practice. This is a client-facing role with strong client contact requiring a sense of urgency while delivering efficient and accurate service. The position is part of a larger team of dedicated professionals in a relatively flat organization all intensely working together towards the same goal requiring a good amount of communication and cross support between members.

Skills and experience that will lead to success:

  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and self-management skills, including organization and prioritization.
  • Uses a detailed approach to maintain regular contact with the client, including direct communication, to address requests, answer questions, and provide service.
  • Applies knowledge of common liability insurance coverages such as General Liability, Workers Compensation, Automobile Liability, and Umbrella/Excess Liability, Property (Builder's Risk/Inland Marine) and other construction related coverages.
  • Reviews and interprets complex contract insurance requirements ensuring compliance.
  • Effectively communicates via email and phone, maintaining rapport and open, effective communication with clients and internal teams.
  • Actively supports renewal and new business process including gathering exposure information, compiling submission information for client and underwriters, placement tracking, insurance quote, binder and policy checking.
  • Servicing client's RMIS needs, including data management and updating and maintaining a policy document library.
  • Collaborates with and cross-supports other unit service members.
  • Serves as the primary interface with Aon Client Services (ACS), coordinating activities of the client service team and ACS to ensure that key processes assigned are performed effectively.
  • Understands best practices and leverages available resources Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes.
  • Performs account servicing functions, including invoicing and miscellaneous office duties in support of account servicing.

Education and Experience: 2 + years of construction commercial insurance experience strongly preferred Property & Casualty broker license strongly preferred, or to be obtained within 120 days of start date High school diploma or equivalent required Associates degree preferred

Pay Transparency Laws The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $65,000 - $85,000. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
