The Opportunity The Technical Specialist provides direct, hands-on technical support to program customers, supporting the installation, testing, and maintenance of fixed-site and mobile Electronic Warfare (EW) systems. This role is critical to mission success and represents the primary field presence of the program. Technical Specialists are expected to deploy frequently (approximately 60% of the year) to support mission requirements in high-risk environments and must be adaptable, technically proficient, and capable of operating independently in dynamic and challenging conditions.
Key Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)
- Install, test, maintain, and troubleshoot EW systems at fixed sites and on mobile platforms
- Perform RF diagnostics and system validation using technical test equipment
- Support integration of EW systems with power, communications, and antenna subsystems
- Conduct installation and maintenance of antennas, radios, and associated infrastructure including tower systems
- Perform hands-on work with vehicle mechanical and electrical systems for system integration
- Provide on-site technical support to end users and mission personnel; document maintenance activities, system performance, and field reports
