Job Description
You will be responsible for managing process and training consistency across the submarine installation workforce and the coordination and communication of the installation planning.
You will lead instillation risk mitigation activities and advise the Installation Planning Manager when installation risk requires higher level intervention.
You will develop plans and milestones to identify costs, schedule and performance gaps within installations and provide leadership course of action options to resolve challenges.
You will lead change through continuous process improvements including implementation of Lean Six SIGMA projects within the installation arena, working with stakeholders to realize efficiencies.
You will manage financial resources and workforce based on organizational goals and budget limitations.
Conditions of employment:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or DP-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies, including addressing emerging threats such as cybersecurity risks, supply chain vulnerabilities, and integration challenges; resolving conflicts among competing policies, technical requirements, or stakeholders; AND recommending or establishing procedures that balance operational, cost, schedule, and performance considerations. If selected, your salary will be set according to the established control points of this position which is $143,677 - $186,785 (Base $107,446 - $139,684 plus 33.72% locality adjustment). DP-04, CONTROL POINT IS CAPPED AT A GS-14, STEP 10. This position is eligible for situational or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
