You will serve as the Branch Manager for Security Policy and Programs. You will provide technical leadership and supervisory oversight to employees within the organization performing a variety of functions. You will be responsible for the organization's overall effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity along with the development and implementation of NSWC Crane policies and procedures. You will ensure effective collaboration and teaming both internal to Crane and external. You will effectively communicate up, down, and across the chain of command, and with outside organizations, sponsors, and business partners. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the organization's hiring plan, personnel actions, conflict resolution processes, contracts, quality initiatives, training programs, and budget. You will maintain quality customer relationships with all customers. You will be responsible for matters pertaining to the classification, safeguarding, transmission, and destruction of Classified National Security Information (CNSI) for NSWC Crane. You will manage programs in classification, safeguarding, transmission, and destruction of classified material, ensures the protection of CNSI, and prepares recommendations for the release of classified information. You will ensure the protection of CNSI during all visits to the Command and ensures access to CNSI is limited to those with the proper need-to-know. You will ensure threats to security and other security violations are reported, recorded, and when necessary investigated. You will formulate, coordinate, and conduct the Command's security education, training, and awareness program.
Requirements:
Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading the evaluation and interpreting of policies or procedures to provide technical expertise and direction in implementation of security policies, plans, or procedures for security programs (e.g. personnel security, information security, industrial security, insider threat, security education, training, and awareness) for maintaining organizational compliance and protective measures. This is a Security Professional Educational Development (SPeD) position and requires DoD certification. Selectee must obtain and maintain certification within prescribed timeframes. Certifications required are Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) and Security Program Integration Professional Certification (SPIPC).
