Service Desk Analyst

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Service Desk Analyst to join a long term program that supports a complex, multi site, federal infrastructure across the US. This infrastructure is anchored by RedHat Linux based high performance computing clusters. This position is fully on site in Annapolis Junction, MD. Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across a variety of systems and devices.
• Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems.
• Create and manage user accounts, including password resets and access permissions.
• Document technical solutions, troubleshooting steps, and best practices for internal knowledge bases.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and efficient IT operations.
• Provide support in complex IT environments, including multi-platform systems and enterprise-level networks.

Qualifications include:

• Active Full Scope Polygraph
• 3+ years of alike experience
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Security+ certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months).

Compensation includes:

• Salary Range: $100,000 - $135,000+ depending on experience
• Multiple LCAT's available
