Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking Principal Engineer Technical Services Project Management (level 3)/Sr. Principal Engineer Technical Services Project Management (level 4) to join its team in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel Program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

What you will get to do:

  1. Produce ILS Technical Reports, Maintenance Plans, and Training Requirements Documents compliant with appropriate standards. Create and maintain comprehensive sustainment strategies covering maintenance concepts, spare part provisioning, supply chain risk mitigation, and life cycle cost forecasting.
  2. Liaise with engineering, production, logistics, contracting, and customer support teams to align sustainment objectives and resolve issues promptly.

Basic Qualifications:

  • This position may be hired at level 3 or level 4 depending upon applicant qualifications.
  • Principal Technical Services Project Management (level 3): Bachelor's degree and 5 years of applicable experience, 3 years with a masters, 1 year with a PhD.
  • Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • 3 years of experience with a sustainment or development program.
  • Sr. Principal Technical Services Project Management (level 3): Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience, 6 with a masters, 4 with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with MIL-HDBK 1388-2B and GEIA-STD-0007
  • Experience with Raytheon EAGLE Database or SLIC wave or equivalent
  • Experience with Teamcenter
  • Aerospace / ICBM maintenance or supply experience

This position's standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
