As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence to support a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the property, interact with visitors and staff, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $19.07 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Friday 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Saturday 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Sunday 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activities.
• Communicate professionally with store staff, management, and visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and observing activities within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
