The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining mobile devices in a secure environment. This position requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively, providing technical support while ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity and mobile device security policies.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain mobile devices including smartphones, tablets, and secure communications equipment.
• Manage device enrollment, provisioning, and updates through Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms (such as Intune, AirWatch, or MobileIron).
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues related to mobile devices.
• Apply and enforce DoD security policies, STIGs, and encryption requirements for mobile devices.
• Support user requests including device setup, application support, and account troubleshooting.
• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and software updates to maintain operational readiness.
• Maintain asset accountability, tracking, and reporting for all mobile devices.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to remediate vulnerabilities and support compliance audits.
• Provide end-user training on mobile device policies, procedures, and security practices.
• Active DoD Secret clearance (minimum).
• Current CompTIA Security+ certification.
• 3-5 years of experience in mobile device support, IT helpdesk, or related technical role.
• Knowledge of MDM platforms, mobile OS (iOS, Android), and secure configurations.
• Experience with DoD or other federal IT environments preferred.
• Familiarity with networking basics (Wi-Fi, VPN, certificates) and device security hardening.
• Experience with DISA STIGs and DoD IA controls preferred.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, and PKI certificate management.
• ITIL or other IT service management framework knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. Candidates must be eligible for a background investigation.
