Desktop Support Technician

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking TS/SCI FSP cleared Desktop Support Technician to support a restricted cloud based program in Reston, VA. The Desktop Support Technician will be responsible for providing tier I and or II desktop support for the customer and end-users in a 24x7 operation environment.

Location: Reston, VA

Shifts: Day Shift, Swing Shift, Night Shift

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to the customer and end-users in regards to technical issues
  • Provide troubleshooting, patching, configuration, remediation support to computer hardware, and software applications
  • Handle ticketing system to track issues and document completion of tasks

Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret - SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
  • Interest and willingness to learn technical support duties
  • Experience working in Linux and or Windows environments

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with help desk or desktop support related duties such as troubleshoot support for hardware
  • Desire to have exposure to the MS Azure Cloud

Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $80,000 - $130,000
