Control Account Manager for Quality & Mission Success (Level 2)

You will be the Control Account Manager for Quality & Mission Success (Level 2) for the team responsible for managing control account performance and ensuring quality and mission success. As the Control Account Manager for Quality & Mission Success (Level 2), you will be responsible for effectively managing control account performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and providing timely and accurate insights to leadership and program management. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing control account performance, elevating concerns and issues to leadership and program management as needed.
  • Overseeing budget resource loading, tracking progress, and ensuring forecast accuracy throughout the contract period of performance.
  • Identifying risks and opportunities, implementing approved mitigation plans, and conducting closed-loop corrective action.
  • Providing timely and accurate insights to key program impacts or opportunities to leadership and program management.
  • Completing all earned value management (EVM) assigned duties, including work authorization requests, estimate at complete review, and variance reporting.

The ideal candidate for this role is a detail-oriented and analytical professional with experience in control account management, earned value management, and risk management. You should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start. Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with aerospace and defense programs
  • Problem solving, root cause, corrective action, and closure skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
  • Ability to gain a DoD Secret Security clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
  • Previous cost accounting and control experience
  • Completed CAM certification training and coursework
  • Previous Proposal, BOE (basis of estimate), and/or Negotiations experience
  • This position requires possible travel

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret. Other Important Information You Should Know:

  • Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
  • Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
  • Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
