Lockheed Martin Space in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a highly skilled individual to perform as an Associate Manager and Control Account Manager (CAM) for the Meridian program's Ground Integration Team. This position will serve as a functional manager for 5-10 software engineers. As a Software Engineering Cost Account Manager, you will:

  • Establish and assess progress multiple Control Accounts (CA) and Work Packages (WP)
  • Define and assess completion of scope against the work breakdown structure and organization breakdown structure in accordance with Agile planning and program integrated master schedule
  • Plan, assign and determine program performance based on earned value techniques, using Agile processes
  • Ensure time phased budget reflects contractual requirements
  • Review data for supporting cost and schedule analysis, including identifying and communicating risks and opportunities
  • Supply status and updates to the program schedule and Jira planning
  • Provide objective progress assessments to the program stakeholders
  • Prepare/approve/accept Work Authorizations Documents
  • Lead and coordinate technical product development and reviews through the design lifecycle

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Perform functional leadership responsibilities, including workforce management (re-assignments, placements, recruitment, and selection of new employees, and terminations)
  • Personnel management (training, mentoring, career development, performance, and compensation management)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technical discipline or closely related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • Experience with Cost Account Management and/or Earned Value Management
  • Experience coordinating across multiple engineering disciplines
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

  • Experience working large SatComm or Space Force programs, complying with business rhythms, and delivering to meet customer expectations

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret

  • Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
  • Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
  • Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $113,900 - $200,905. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
