This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d.
Duties include resolving complaints and team conflicts, training and assisting personnel, providing guidance relative to budget development and execution, organizing, planning, scheduling, and prioritizing team members' workloads, maintaining oversight of work accomplishments, and being responsible for all aspects of corporate budget development operating within a working capital fund business model.
Additional duties involve performing budget execution analysis, monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of internal controls, developing complex financial plans, communicating both orally and in writing, demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Tools, conducting purpose, time, and amount reviews of all funds submitted for procurement requests, responding to internal and external funding related data calls, and serving as the Manager's Internal Control Assessable Unit Manager.
Must be a US Citizen, determined suitable for federal employment, participate in the direct deposit pay program, required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance, and achieve Financial Management Level II certification within prescribed timelines. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate planning and scheduling all aspects of corporate budget development within a working capital fund business model.
