REHOUSING SUPPORT ANALYST

The NYC Department of Homeless Services (DHS) is one of the largest organizations of its kind committed to preventing and addressing homelessness in New York City. Collaborating with other public agencies and not-for-profit partners, the Department of Homeless Services works to prevent homelessness before it occurs, reduce street homelessness, and assist New Yorkers to transition from shelter into appropriate permanent housing. The Department of Homeless Services (DHS) is recruiting for one (1) Staff Analyst II to function as a Rehousing Support Analyst, who will:

• Collect, organize, analyze, interpret, and present data relative to HPD Move Outs of the agency.
• Prepare and conduct management studies and surveys or administrative, procedural and operational analyses including the evaluation of organizational structures, policies, programs, projects, procedures and operations of a city agency, using quantitative analysis, cost analysis and other research techniques.
• Collect and analyze data; analyze organizational structures, operational and accounting systems, procedures, programs, utilization of management information systems, machines and equipment, forms, and records management systems.
• Prepare comprehensive reports of findings with recommendations for improved efficiency.
• Design forms; prepare charts, graphs, and other related material.
• Prepare periodic reports on agency programs.
