Team/Role Overview

Reporting to the Global Head of Custody Implementations & Change, this role will be responsible for leading a team of project managers implementing change for our largest Custody clients around the globe. Managing delivery across the APAC region, the newly formed team supports clients in Asia North/South, Australia and Japan gain access to our Custody Services. Working with our Operations, Product and Technology partners to deliver seamless client onboarding and change, this role will lead a critical part of our client change capability.

In this role, you're expected to:

  • Manage and lead a team of ~10 project managers across our KL, HK, Singapore & Melbourne sites to deliver best in class Custody implementations and Change Management.
  • Work with our global Product, Sales, Operations and Implementations partners to ensure seamless change delivery to our largest institutional Custody clients across the Securities Services product set.
  • Identify key talent, manage the team's development, capacity and ensure adherence to appropriate methodologies and standards
  • Support product and client solutioning to ensure the implementation of robust operating models and minimize manual processing
  • Provide oversight of the Custody implementations and change portfolio within the clusters to ensure governance, timely escalation and best-in-class delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategic process and organizational change to improve efficiency and client experience
  • Manage risks and controls to the highest standards of zero tolerance
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

As a successful candidate, you'd ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  • 8-10 years Investor Services experience in client facing roles preferably within Custody Services
  • Extensive project/change management experience within Financial Services
  • Experience leading, developing and managing multi-region, high performing teams
  • Experience implementing, managing and leading change projects and programs for institutional clients
  • Experience managing risks and controls in a highly dynamic environment
  • Experience working effectively in a highly matrixed organization
  • Formal project/change management qualifications preferred
