Job Overview: The Asset Servicing - Senior Client Service Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Communication & Service: Directly communicate with clients, providing high-quality responses to inquiries and actively participating in service meetings with prepared data and issue analysis.
  • Relationship Building & Resolution: Cultivate strong relationships with internal operational partners and leverage influencing skills to drive resolution of long-standing operational issues.
  • Operational & Product Expertise: Maintain a strong working knowledge of Corporate Actions, Income, Proxy events, and operational platforms to independently resolve approximately 80% of incoming queries.
  • Solution Development & Quality Control: Develop client-specific service solutions, ensure quality control, and contribute to the creation of business-required documents to enhance efficiency.
  • Efficiency & Productivity: Execute multiple transactions of moderate complexity to achieve operational efficiency and maintain high productivity levels.
  • Risk Management & Compliance: Minimize risk by adhering to procedural requirements, audit and control policies, and actively participating in compliance-related activities.
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Collaborate with peers and product teams to develop solutions, create dynamic MIS, and continuously seek opportunities to reduce manual processes.
  • Ethical Conduct & Safeguarding Assets: Appropriately assess and mitigate risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with regulations, adhering to policy, and escalating control issues transparently to safeguard the firm's reputation, clients, and assets.

Ideal Background:

  • Relevant work experience
  • Intermediate level experience in a related role
  • In-depth knowledge of securities processing, combined with a solid understanding of hedge fund industry standards and practices
  • Communicates with tact and diplomacy in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information
  • Deals with most problems independently
  • Has some latitude to resolve complex issues related to the analysis of hedge fund activities
  • Bachelor's/University degree
