Softbank Account Sales

We are seeking an Account Sales professional to manage our partnership with SoftBank. In this role, you will focus on Networking and AI/Data Center solutions. By leveraging Cisco's broad portfolio of products and services, you will engage in pre-sales activities aimed at solving client challenges and contributing to their business expansion. In collaboration with the Sales Engineering (SE) department, you will drive synergy across Service, Technical Support, and Headquarters Development teams to deliver optimal proposals and resolve complex issues for the client.

As part of our Account Team, you will lead sales activities for Networking and AI/Data Center solutions targeting Service Provider clients. Your mission is to support business transformation by providing tailored solutions, solving business challenges, assisting in new service development, and strengthening partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serving as the Account Manager responsible for high-touch sales to Service Providers.
  • Developing and executing strategic account plans.
  • Leading proposal activities by identifying, organizing, and addressing client challenges and technical requirements.
  • Managing quotes and leading responses to technical inquiries from clients and partners.
  • Coordinating with U.S. Headquarters and other domestic departments to close business deals.
  • Managing and reporting on the sales pipeline.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 3+ years of experience as a high-touch Account Executive/ Account Manager.
  • Fundamental networking or Data Center knowledge.
  • High-level communication skills in Japanese.
  • Ability to operate using strategic sales methodologies.
  • Strong negotiation skills to create win-win solutions for clients, partners, and Cisco.
  • A proactive approach to client engagement
  • A team-oriented mindset, prioritizing collaboration over individual achievement.
  • Experience driving business while collaborating with large, cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Business-level English communication skills.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Data Center Infrastructure, including networking, computing, and AI accelerators.
  • Pre-sales experience specifically handling Service Provider accounts.
  • A proven track record of expanding business through the adoption of new technologies.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
