C.H. Robinson is seeking an Implementation Manager to lead and manage our customer implementation projects in global forwarding.
The Implementation Manager will help create collaborative, consistent, and standardized practices for onboarding new businesses in Oceania and globally. They will position our technology and implementation practices as a competitive differentiator through engagement with customers and branches. This role will share technology solutions and implementation best practices within the region and partner on projects to align the customer experience across the network.
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
Manage end-to-end implementation projects for core global forwarding customer accounts through implementation methodology and project management best practices
Assist in onboarding complex global accounts coordinating with various internal teams to ensure that all aspects of the customer onboarding process are completed
Lead communication serving as the primary point of contact for the customer during the onboarding process, ensuring customer inquiries and concerns are addressed in a timely manner
Partner with aligned branches to build and strengthen a defined implementation process, and with aligned Sales team to capture and track new business opportunities and give the needed support on pre-work items for implementation.
Create and execute standard onboarding documents
Assess existing customer accounts to identify opportunities to implement and enhance process and technology Present continuous improvement opportunities to the branch and customer
Advocate for our technology and provide guidance for reporting and technology solutions Educate commercial teams on our technology offerings
Perform technology demonstrations to support sales Present our implementation methodology as a differentiator within the sales phase
High school diploma or Graduate Degree/ equivalent
4–6 years of global forwarding experience in leading operations or account management, or customer implementation projects
Solid understanding of complex freight forwarding operational processes and systems
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Facilitation skills, including relationship management and presentations
Highly organized, able to meet deadlines despite competing priorities
Strong communication and influencing skills
Comfortable working with ambiguity and delivering results independently
