PAY RATE: $18/hr

Within Levy, our New Business & Pursuit Support team partners with executive leadership to win and sustain world-class partnerships that expand Levy's business and bring our hospitality vision to life. We do this through compelling proposals, presentations, and strategic storytelling that help secure new partnerships and retain existing ones.

Position Summary: Levy's On-Deck Summer Internship – Graphic Design is a 10-week, project-based program designed to provide hands-on experience supporting high-impact design work across new business pursuits. Interns will support proposal and presentation design efforts, collaborate with senior graphic designers and project managers, and gain exposure to real-world creative execution in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This internship is ideal for rising juniors or seniors pursuing a degree in graphic design or a related field who want to apply their skills in the world of sports and entertainment—supporting pursuits connected to venues and experiences like convention centers, cultural attractions, retail, and special events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the design and production of proposals, presentations, and visual assets for new business opportunities
• Assisting senior graphic designers with layout, formatting, and visual consistency across pursuit materials, primarily in InDesign.
• Preparing and updating presentation decks using brand guidelines and established templates
• Supporting design edits and revisions under tight deadlines
• Organizing and maintaining digital assets and files
• Collaborating with project managers to support pursuit timelines and deliverables
• Participating in intern programming, professional development workshops, and final project presentations to Levy leadership

Professionalism, attention to detail, time management, and eagerness to learn are essential expectations of this role.

Required Qualifications:

• Full-time student currently enrolled at an accredited four-year university or college
• Rising junior or senior majoring in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
• Previous internship, academic, or project experience in graphic design
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work collaboratively with designers, project managers, and cross-functional partners
• Strong communication skills and openness to feedback
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and basic MS Office tools
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Ability to provide own housing and transportation to Levy's Chicago Home Office for the duration of the program

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing presentations or proposal-style materials
• Familiarity with branding and visual identity standards
• Experience working under deadlines or in a client-facing environment
• Exposure to Canva or presentation-focused design tools
