We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll work closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent to support the successful execution of assigned projects. You will play a key part in coordinating documentation, maintaining project controls, and ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
What you'll do:
Organize, track, and manage project documentation, including meeting minutes, Change Orders/Site Instructions, Owner's Instructions, Shop Drawings, Drawing Logs, draft Progress Claims, field notices, and sustainability requirements (LEED, Waste Management, Erosion and Sediment Control, Materials Testing).
Set up and maintain project reporting systems such as cost reports, project status reports, drawing/document control, and shop drawing logs.
Maintain accurate logs (RFI, Vendor/Subcontractor, Purchase, Owner, etc.), track responses, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
Assist with trade contractor site meetings, RFIs, invoices, and document control processes.
Manage project administration activities including payroll, timekeeping, labor/equipment coding, purchase orders, and safety reporting.
Review construction plans to verify compliance with plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and structural codes and regulations.
Lead the full project life cycle—from pre-construction planning through commissioning and turnover
What we're looking for:
Technical diploma in an appropriate construction-related field (CET), or equivalent construction experience.
2-5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator
Able to read blueprints, schematics, field drawings and plans
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe or Bluebeam Revu.
A solid understanding of all construction trades, safety and construction techniques.
Knowledge of local, provincial and federal workplace compliance regulations, ordinances and legislation.
