Job Description
The Project Coordinator supports successful project delivery by assisting Project and Program Managers in organizing and tracking the administrative and operational aspects of client-facing technology initiatives. This role is an entry-level gateway into project management within a dynamic IT consulting environment, ideal for self-driven individuals eager to learn and grow.
- Maintain and update project documentation, including action logs, schedules, and meeting summaries
- Support the preparation of client-facing materials such as agendas, status reports, and deliverable trackers
- Monitor task progress, assist in identifying risks and issues, and ensure they are captured and escalated appropriately
- Assist with resource tracking, time entry compliance, and internal reporting activities
- Facilitate meeting logistics (scheduling, note-taking, follow-ups) and support communication between project stakeholders
- Utilize PSA tools (e.g., Dynamics Project Operations, Power BI) for data entry and reporting
- Other PMO-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Who You Are:
- 2 years or more of experience in project coordination or project support roles, preferably within technology or professional services environments
- Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects, including coordinating schedules, tracking deliverables, and managing project documentation
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar) and collaboration platforms like Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or Confluence is preferred
- Service-minded: Proactively supports teams and clients with professionalism and responsiveness
- Self-driven: Takes initiative in learning Burwood processes and systems
- Curious: Eager to understand how technology projects deliver value
- Consultative: Communicates clearly and collaborates effectively
- Detail-oriented: Organized with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
