Brown & Brown is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to join our growing team in Tacoma, WA!

The Personal Lines Account Manager (AM) position serves as the primary service contact for the client. The AM will actively manage an assigned book of business, providing day to day services including but not limited to renewal and marketing coordination, billing, endorsements, issuance of appropriate documentation. The AM will be responsible for carrying out all tasks as outlined in the Job Description "Roles and Responsibilities" addendum. The AM will report directly to the Personal Lines Department Leader.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Service and maintain a book of business.
  • Provide direct customer service support for personal lines clients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of communications and insurance documents as required.
  • Follow carrier underwriting guidelines to remarket existing clients based on their unique exposures and individual coverage needs.
  • Stay current on industry changes through continuing education classes throughout the year.
  • Be a mentor to fellow teammates and be willing to participate in peer training.
  • Develop and foster quality relationships with clients and teammates.
  • Review, analyze and resolve policy and coverage-related concerns for clients.
  • Consistently meet all Brown & Brown established quality control Procedures & Timelines and maintain a passing score in all self & corporate audits.
  • Compile and create proposals, summaries and additional documents as requested.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Personal Lines insurance license.

Skills & Experience to Be Successful:

  • College degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in the insurance industry with a strong emphasis in personal lines insurance. (Preferred)
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to act tactically and strong insight into customer needs/wants.
  • Proficient with management operating systems that support insurance sales, tracking and service.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Tools, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Pay Range $30.00 - $40.00 Hourly
