Braishfield Associates, a division of Hull & Company, LLC, is a member of Bridge Specialty Group who is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our growing team in Orlando, FL.

The Customer Service Specialist will review renewal insurance applications to evaluate, classify, and rate risks for insurance and accept or reject applications.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Set up new and renewal client records
  • Bind new and renewal policies
  • Issue policies as necessary
  • Follow up for missing file documentation (loss runs, applications, etc.)
  • Review applications
  • Issue, invoice and process endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements and non-renewals
  • Order loss control reports, follow up for compliance of recs
  • Compliance with quality control guidelines
  • Daily review checks not applied, take appropriate action and update tracking spreadsheet
  • Review A/R aging report
  • Review/process notice of cancellation/rescinding notices
  • Responsible for taking phone calls regarding cancellation and accounting inquiries
  • Communicate with Braishfield staff, agents, finance companies, etc. regarding A/R questions, billing issues, etc.
  • Review direct bill statements and process transactions as necessary
  • Other activities, duties and projects as assigned

Licenses and Certifications:

  • 2-20 License (within 90 days of employment)
  • 1-20 (Surplus Lines) license (within 90 days of employment)

Skills & Experience to Be Successful:

  • Associate's degree (preferred)
  • High school or equivalent education
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Experience with excess and surplus lines underwriting agency or company a plus. (preferred)
