Join us as an Application Production Support Lead

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting an Application Production Support Lead to join our Global Production Management Team in Krakow. In this role you will drive production support activities across a portfolio of applications and services for Fund Services and Transfer Agency Business Lines. This includes Technical Support performing incident management, problem management, oversight of change management activities, alert management, and knowledge management.

Our Global Production Management (GPM) organization supports all the applications and infrastructure of the bank. As part of that team, you will drive and provide support activities and services, influence stakeholders, and advance the positioning of GPM in the bank.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

  • Lead Incident Management efforts which include management of the Incident ticket, communication to interested parties and timely escalation and communication of issues.
  • Provide governance of change management activities including consultation of design review, driving fulfillment of support requirements, review and approval of changes
  • Drive problem management process, ensure data quality and utilize metrics to identify trends and influence remediation
  • Proactively research and escalate any abnormalities to mitigate system issues and/or downtime
  • Assist with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) efforts (prioritize problems, identify, and validate RCA) and if needed identify and document workarounds
  • Develop continuous monitoring of core system functions. Improve the alerting environment by making alerts more actionable and appropriate. This includes determining system KPIs, designing, building and implementing alerting

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years performing in some form of oversight and influential role
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or related work experience
  • Experience with production management disciplines, including knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to influence
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and logical thinking skills
  • Good understanding of current IT infrastructure, technology and application development standards
  • Readiness to learn and develop new skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
