Construction Project Coordinator

Boyd Gaming Corporation, a leading casino entertainment company in the United States, seeks a Construction Project Coordinator. The company is committed to evolving and maintaining its leadership position in the industry.

The Construction Project Coordinator will assist the Design & Construction project management team in various phases of projects, including design, procurement, pre-construction, construction administration, and project close-out. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, punctual, and professional, with excellent communication skills and construction experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Document control and maintenance of project filing.
• Assisting with project budgets and reporting.
• Structuring cost estimates and schedules in collaboration with the project manager.
• Maintaining all construction files.
• Maintaining various construction, design, safety, and insurance logs.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Participating in design and construction progress meetings.
• Assisting the project management team with bids, budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders, and pay applications.

Qualifications:

• BA degree in Construction Management preferred, equivalent experience accepted.
• Two or more years of experience required.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines.
• Ability to read and comprehend construction plans and documents.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to walk on construction sites with uneven terrain and obstacles.
• May be required to occasionally travel.
• May regularly sit and stand for several hours at a time.
