Project Coordinator-Grant Funded

The Center for Data Analytics Education seeks a qualified Project Coordinator to oversee the implementation of various project components. The project aims to build capacity in data analytics strategies, models, curriculum design, and research within the education department. A key initiative involves offering mini grants to professors for integrating data into their curriculum or conducting data-driven community projects. The Project Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting faculty and student training, research, and community engagement across diverse data science areas.

Grant Implementation:

  • Oversee the effective implementation of the Department of Education grant, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Coordinate activities related to faculty training, curriculum development, and community engagement.

Mini Grant Program Management:

  • Administer the mini grant program, including the application process, evaluation, and selection of proposals.
  • Provide guidance to professors awarded mini grants and facilitate the successful execution of their projects.

Research Facilitation:

  • Support research initiatives within the Center for Data Analytics by facilitating collaboration between faculty and students.
  • Assist in the identification of research opportunities, data sources, and methodologies.

Community Engagement:

  • Foster partnerships with external organizations to enhance community engagement in data science projects.
  • Promote the Center for Data Analytics' involvement in data-driven initiatives that benefit the broader community.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

  • Establish mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating the impact of project activities.
  • Collect and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of faculty and student training programs.

Faculty and Student Training:

  • Support training programs for faculty and students in various data science areas.
