In our Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) division, we provide groundbreaking technologies that treat irregular heart rhythms, support heart failure management, and protect against sudden cardiac arrest. As an Account Manager in CRM, you will be a key driver of growth and customer success within your territory. You'll build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, deliver best-in-class service and support, and help clinicians deliver optimal patient outcomes through the use of our technologies. This is a strategic and hands-on role ideal for a results-oriented professional passionate about innovation, collaboration, and making a difference in patients' lives.
Your responsibilities will include:
Sell Boston Scientific products by scheduling and conducting sales calls with current and prospective customers to achieve revenue and unit growth targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Execute territory-specific sales strategies that address the needs of hospital staff, physicians, and decision-makers.
Assess customer needs, clinical goals, and procedural workflows by engaging with physicians and care teams to identify the most appropriate Boston Scientific solutions.
Address product or service concerns by developing effective solutions, independently or in collaboration with cross-functional teams such as clinical research, pricing, or marketing.
Cultivate long-term relationships with hospital stakeholders through meetings, conversations, and conference participation to expand network and uncover new opportunities.
Educate customers on clinical benefits and proper use of products via engaging presentations, demonstrations, and educational tools to support purchasing decisions.
Contribute to resource planning by recommending clinical support needs for implants, programming, troubleshooting, and follow-up care.
Attend and support device implants in hospital labs and operating rooms, and provide ongoing follow-up to ensure patient and customer success with implanted products.
What we're looking for in you:
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent clinical/sales experience
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a clinical or sales role in medical device or pharmaceutical field sales
Strong technical aptitude and ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively
Willingness to participate in a rotational 24/7/365 on-call schedule with the sales team
Flexibility to work variable hours and complete an extensive training program
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or MBA
Experience in Structural Heart, Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, or related healthcare specialties
Background in cardiovascular procedures and familiarity with device implantation
The anticipated annualized base amount for this full time position will be $60,000, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC.
