Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator to join our team. This role combines business administrative responsibilities with security consulting and project coordination support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, and eager to learn about the security consulting industry. This position is non-technical, but requires strong writing skills, professional judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Although the position is remote, candidates must be located in Southern California - ideally in the Los Angeles area - to allow for local travel to clients on short notice.
Responsibilities of this role include:
- Manage and coordinate project schedules across internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure all deliverables stay on track.
- Draft, edit, format, and proofread client deliverables, security assessment reports, and proposals to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Provide business administrative and HR-related support, including onboarding, scheduling, and documentation.
- Support the day-to-day work required to develop SOPs, reports, and trainings in a user-friendly manner that aligns with BGI and the assigned client's culture.
- Maintain all documentation associated with assigned projects in accordance with BGI and client requirements.
- Assist with recruitment coordination, such as posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and workflows associated with assigned projects.
- Remain flexible to the needs of assigned clients while balancing multiple priorities and projects.
- Support various operational and administrative duties for the company.
Skills and qualifications include:
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Criminology, Law, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- 0-2 years of experience in corporate safety and security, or a related field is preferred.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Possess a strong desire to learn and grow within the company.
- High level of social awareness and emotional intelligence to foster strong, collaborative relationships both within the organization and with external clients.
- Ability to multitask and balance competing deadlines and projects.
- Ability to travel regionally as required.
- Familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office tools, technology, and applications.
$25 - $30 an hour
