Entry/Associate Inventory Modeling Tech Specialist

The Boeing Company Boeing Global Services is seeking an Entry/Associate Inventory Modeling Tech Specialist to join the team in Mesa, AZ.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs or maintains routine inventory procedures, assists in analyzing postproduction supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities.
  • Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving.
  • Champions culture of quality, learning, trust, and collaborative energy.
  • Assess performance of models and analysis and confirm that business objectives were met.
  • Adaptable, able to work in a constant change and fast paced environment.
  • Builds and manages data sets/modeling records to run models and simulations.
  • Identify process and system improvements and support business decisions.
  • Gathers, cleans and verifies accuracy, and analyzes data to develop and manage multiple data sets.
  • Run demand forecasting, strategic optimization, initial spares models and logistics simulations on complex projects.
  • Analyzes, manipulates, updates and optimizes models.
  • Uses models to estimate resource needs.
  • Uses tools, models and simulations to identify process and system improvements.
  • Assesses supply chain practices to improve cost and cycle time.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in Data analytics.
  • Experience using or applying statistical and mathematical concepts to measure performance against projects to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Data analytics.
  • Great communication skills, and motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Programming experience in Python.
  • Experience with statistical software (e.g., R) and database languages (e.g., SQL).
  • Strong team player and passion to execute projects with a focus on customer and value.
  • Bachelor's or master's in computer science, economics, quantitative finance, operations research, statistics, mathematics, or related field of engineering.
  • Demand forecasting and/or data simulation experience.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range Entry Level $49,000.00 - $70,000.00

Summary pay range Associate Level $59,000.00 - $83,000.00
