BayWa r.e. Energy Trading GmbH is one of the leading marketers of green energy. We offer our customers a wide range of energy-related services and products. In addition to the direct marketing of decentralized renewable energy and CHP plants, we support plants with expiring EEG promotion, as well as the further expansion of renewable energy projects without promotion mechanisms, with power purchase agreements. As an innovative company, we are constantly developing our product portfolio. With new topics such as the marketing of battery storage systems and electrolyzers, as well as the offer of citizen power, we are actively contributing to the energy transition. We focus not only on Germany but also expand our business activities internationally.

Due to a replacement, we are looking for a Senior Key Account Manager (m/w/d) to join our team in Leipzig, Frankfurt, Munich or Germany-wide.

Your tasks include:

• Acquiring new customers and supporting existing customers with a focus on direct marketing and power purchase agreements (PPA)
• Monitoring the competition and creating target group strategies
• Implementing strategically defined sales targets
• Actively supporting the new and further development of the company's product portfolio based on customer needs
• Managing the interfaces to adjacent areas and processing internal operations
• Representing the company at conferences, trade fairs, and customer events

Your profile includes:

• A university degree in energy economics, (economic) engineering with an energy economics focus or a comparable qualification
• Proven experience in the energy sector in the areas of direct marketing and PPA
• A high degree of self-reliance and team orientation
• Communication and negotiation skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office products and CRM systems
• Very good German and good English skills
• A driver's license class B and travel readiness complete your profile
