The Customer Relations Associate performs various customer service activities, to include greeting and acknowledging all customers in a prompt and friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, providing information and direction to customers.
Essential functions include securing all firearms brought into the store with trigger locks, checking in all vendor representatives, and supporting a strong commitment to world class customer service. The associate greets all customers as they enter the store in a friendly and outgoing manner, handles customer's merchandise returns, sorts returns by category, sells appropriate hunting and fishing licenses, and handles incentive and reward programs. They remain product knowledgeable, aware of advertised sales, and keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked. They follow all company policies and procedures, and provide a legendary experience for every customer by assisting in making buying decisions.
Experience/qualifications include a minimum high school diploma or equivalent experience. Knowledge, skills, and ability include the ability to calculate figures, communicate in a friendly and professional manner, establish and maintain effective working relationships, and operate a computerized point of sale register system.
Travel requirements are not applicable. Physical requirements include constantly standing, walking, and communicating with others, repeating motions, occasionally ascending or descending ladders, working in varying temperatures, and lifting objects up to 20 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds.
Independent judgment is required to complete work assignments, often making recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
