RPA - Application Support Analyst

Join us as a RPA - Application Support Analyst at Barclays, where you'll spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. As a part of the team, you will deliver technology stack, using strong analytical and problem solving skills to understand the business requirements and deliver quality solutions. You'll be working on complex technical problems that will involve detailed analytical skills and analysis. This will be done in conjunction with fellow engineers, business analysts and business stakeholders.

To be successful as a RPA - Application Support Analyst you should have experience with:

  • Proficiency in RPA Platforms: Strong hands-on experience in troubleshooting automation workflows using Blue Prism and UiPath, including managing control room operations and bot lifecycle.
  • Process Mining Expertise: Ability to interpret and analyze business processes using Celonis to identify root causes for performance gaps.
  • Tech Stack: Familiarity with Elastic tools (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for monitoring, logging, and analyzing bot performance and infrastructure health. Ability to write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and troubleshooting across automation-related databases.
  • Incident and Problem Management: Skilled in handling support tickets, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring timely resolution of automation-related issues across platforms.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration and Documentation: Capable of working with business users, developers, and infrastructure teams while maintaining clear documentation of automation processes, support procedures, and system configurations.

Some other highly valued skills include:

  • Scripting and Debugging Skills: Ability to debug automations in Blue Prism to enhance automation capabilities and resolve complex issues.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and Service Management: Familiarity with incident, change, and problem management processes aligned with ITIL standards to ensure structured and efficient support operations.
  • Security and Compliance Awareness: Understanding of data privacy, access control, and compliance requirements relevant to automation platforms and enterprise environments.
  • Performance Optimization and Monitoring: Capability to monitor bot performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.
