Senior Account Manager

The primary role of the Senior Account Manager is to deliver revenue objectives by managing and developing business within the Power and Chemical industry.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining and planning strategic and tactical approaches to achieving objectives.
  • Working closely with local marketing, technical sales, and the delivery organization to build and close business within the Thailand region.
  • Discovering new opportunities for AVEVA's solutions in the Power and Chemical Market.
  • Exploring and building a business case for investment in AVEVA's solutions with customers.
  • Traveling to clients, partners, prospects, and AVEVA offices, including overseas on occasion.

Essential requirements include:

  • Defining and executing your Account Manager Business Plan.
  • Planning and organizing all related sales activities from prospecting through to closing business.
  • Complying with AVEVA's Processes and Policies and other written and verbal communication from management.
  • Analyzing ongoing performance against your plan to develop monthly reporting.
  • Maintaining and developing the customer pipeline in accordance with the pipeline recognition rules.

Essential experience includes:

  • At least 7-10 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development selling software solutions.
  • Passion for the customer's business and ability to uncover and solve their most important problems.
  • Preferably degree qualified or have a professional qualification.
  • Self-starter, able to work to develop new and existing client engagements.
  • Skilled and experienced operating at various levels from end user to senior decision makers.
  • Sound commercial and analytical skills to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Positive and determined approach to researching and analyzing new business opportunities.
  • Strong communication skills in all forms – written, oral, email, presentation.
  • Personable, strong team player, and able to conduct challenging business and commercial conversations.

Desired skills include:

  • Customer focused: Develops in-depth understanding of customer needs and improves customer relationships.
  • Consistently shares newsworthy insights about the market.
  • Embraces tension in commercial conversations.
  • Always ties insights back to AVEVA's unique strengths in the market.
