Job Title

Principal responsibilities

  1. Development of strategy and territory plan: Define and implement the regional plan of access and execution by indication/center, aligned with sales objectives and territory coverage. Ensure that forecasts and budgets meet or exceed expectations.
  2. Key accounts management: Map and prioritize institutions, payers, and reference centers; establish long-term relationships with decision-makers, clinicians, and committees (Pharmacy and Therapeutics), promoting inclusion in formularies and supply agreements.
  3. Scientific commitment and therapeutic value: Dialogue with professionals about approved indications and efficacy/safety profiles to support on-label prescription in appropriate patients. Translate clinical and economic evidence into clear value propositions for each stakeholder.
  4. Negotiation and access agreements: Conduct negotiations of commercial conditions and access schemes (including value-based agreements where appropriate), ensuring monitoring of KPIs and sustainability.
  5. Market intelligence: Develop and maintain deep knowledge of the market, demographics, reimbursement dynamics, and purchases (tenders), identifying access barriers and opportunities in the territory.
  6. Cross-functional collaboration: Coordinate closely with Sales, Medical/MSL, Market Access, HEOR, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, and Supply for comprehensive patient-centered execution.
  7. Training and compliance: Successfully complete all training and product evaluations; comply with regulations and policies on interactions with HCPs, distribution of samples, and governance of materials.
  8. Patient journey projects: Support initiatives that improve diagnosis, referral, and adherence in low prevalence or high complexity pathology care lines.
  9. Measurement and reporting: Track institutional coverage indicators, time-to-listing, penetration, and territory performance; report findings and propose improvement plans.

Essential requirements

  • Education: Undergraduate degree in health sciences, biological sciences, administration, health economics, or related fields.
  • Experience: Proven track record in sales/access/account management roles in pharma/biotech with a focus on high-complexity institutions. Preferably direct experience in rare diseases; valuable experience in onco-hematology and/or transplants.
  • Knowledge: Regulations and codes of interaction with HCPs; dynamics of F&T committees; reimbursement and public/private purchase environments; CRM management and data analysis for territory management.
  • Skills: Strategic negotiation, stakeholder management, clear scientific communication, territory planning, analytical thinking, and results orientation. Ability to establish long-term relationships with key clients.
  • Compliance: Commitment to high ethical and compliance standards, ensuring conformity with internal policies and local regulations.

Desirable requirements

  • Postgraduate degree in Market Access, HEOR, public health, or MBA.
  • Experience with value/risk-sharing agreements, budget impact models, and health technology assessments.
  • Solid experience with reference centers in onco-hematology and transplant programs.

Scope and coverage

  • Regional coverage in Mexico City, Hidalgo, and Querétaro. Predominantly field role with frequent travel to institutions.
