Key Account Manager

We are currently looking for a KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER who will take full responsibility for implementing and maintaining a promotional strategy for specific products through strategic management of key units and for building the position and brand of AstraZeneca and its products in the assigned territory (Silesian Voivodeship).

Main Responsibilities:

a. Building long and short-term strategic plans for the territory (Key Account Plan) through:

  • Analysis of the territory
  • Analysis and verification of the subordinate facilities
  • Independent strategic planning of activities based on the analysis of the territory and units
  • Effective implementation of plans and strategies to achieve the set goals
  • Monitoring and verification of the effectiveness of the undertaken actions

b. Building and developing the position of ASTRAZENECA and its products in specific institutions

  • Monitoring the availability of AstraZeneca products for specific healthcare institutions
  • Introducing and maintaining AstraZeneca products in hospital pharmacies
  • Monitoring central programs initiated by the National Health Fund and/or the Ministry of Health
  • Monitoring tenders for medicinal products, in which AstraZeneca products are present, and conducting pre-tender activities in accordance with AstraZeneca procedures and applicable laws and regulations

c. Building, maintaining, and developing relationships with customers:

  • Strategic planning and implementation of cooperation with the most important clients and decision-makers (including KOLs, orthopedists, hospital directors, HCP staff, pharmacists, NFZ departments)
  • Regular contacts with key customers to promote AstraZeneca products and provide full and current information on their availability
  • Regular updating of the list of target customers and searching for new customers for AstraZeneca products used in inpatient care
  • Regular reporting according to AstraZeneca standards

Skills and Qualifications

  • Higher education
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the position of Key Account Partner and/or Specialist for Key Clients confirmed by high work results
  • Efficient computer operation (especially MS Office package)
  • Driving license (category B) and practice in driving a car
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • High level of teamwork and cooperation
  • Very high level of subject knowledge
  • Ability to establish a partnership dialogue with the opinion-forming and decision-making environment
  • In-depth assessment/analysis of the situation from a broad business perspective
  • Ability to quickly respond to emerging opportunities and potential risks
  • Independence and self-motivation
  • Knowledge of Public Procurement Law and conditions related to inpatient care
  • Consistency in action
  • High level of decisiveness
  • Knowledge of English at a communicative level
